The Bell Ringer’s Cottage is a delightful holiday cottage with wonderful sea views.
This Grade B listed cottage, which dates back to the 17th century,
is situated nearby to the picturesque Crail Harbour.
The ground floor has two bedrooms and family bathroom with bath/shower. The main double bedroom is a comfortable, and spacious room, with windows to the front. The twin bedroom - with American size single beds - also has windows to the front with super sea views towards the Forth. There is a small courtyard with a feature fountain off the hallway.
The original stone circular staircase leads to an open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. This open plan area is both light and airy but retains all the charm and character of a very cosy cottage. It retains the feature fireplace. A wonderful window box seat in the lounge allows superb views of the Isle of May. There is another courtyard, reached through patio doors from the lounge, with seating and Mexican barbecue provided, so that you can enjoy those long sunny evenings!
The kitchen, with views across the Forth, is fully equipped with oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge, and microwave. The kitchen has generous preparation areas. There is both a breakfast bar and an additional compact table for dining. There is a separate utility room with both washing machine and tumble drier.
The cottage benefits from central heating throughout. The cottage is also equipped with a flat screen digital television, dvd, video, and cd system with radio. A cot and high chair is available.
Walk out of the holiday cottage and nearby there is the beach, lovely rock pools, local children’s playground, and beautiful coastal walks. The Bell Ringer’s Cottage is only a few minutes walk away from the centre of the village - which benefits from facilities such as a post office, bank, newsagent, general store, butcher, fish and chip shop, several pubs and coffee houses etc.
