Harbour Lights, Pittenweem - Sleeps 6

Looking across the harbour to the cottage

Harbour Lights, with its wonderful unrestricted sea views from its first floor location, has been newly renovated and refurbished to the highest standard.

An internal stair hall leads to a large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area. The lounge has spectacular sea views looking onto the harbour and beyond to the Bass Rock.

The large contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine/tumble drier and has generous granite preparation areas and storage.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, fitted wardrobes, and en-suite facilities comprising a spacious luxury shower together with w.c. and wash hand basin. Bedroom 2 is a twin-bedded room with fitted wardrobes. It overlooks the harbour and has excellent sea views.

View from the window of Harbour Lights Our favourite room is bedroom 3 on the second floor. This twin-bedded room has a cosy 'escape' at the front with stunning sea views in every direction. From a comfortable window seat you can look down on the hustle and bustle of the harbour and wonder at the beauty of the sea below you. Don't forget to bring your binoculars!

A well-equipped large family bathroom is next to bedroom 3. The property benefits from central heating throughout. To make the most of those long and sunny evenings there is also a large garden and courtyard/patio (shared with 'Harbour View') complete with garden furniture and a barbecue.

Walk out of Harbour Lights and besides the interesting harbour, there are lovely rock pools, a small beach, and a local children’s playground nearby. It is only a few minutes walk away from the centre of the village - which benefits from facilities such as a post office, general store, fruit and veg shop, butcher, bakery, fish and chip shop, florist, chemist, hairdresser etc.

Pittenweem itself, being home to the Arts Festival, is also a real hot spot for arts, crafts and antiques. It is on the most beautiful part of the Fife Coastal Path and Millenium Cycle Way. There are award winning sandy beaches, world class golf courses, water sports, and many holiday activities in the area. There are several excellent restaurants and lots of family-friendly pubs to visit nearby.
