The East Neuk is easily accessible by air, rail and car.
By Car - The East Neuk is around an hour’s drive from Edinburgh
South - the quickest way is by Edinburgh. From Edinburgh follow the signs north for the Forth Road Bridge (A90) and Motorway (M90). Branch at Junction 2A and follow the A92. At the roundabout turn right towards Kirkcaldy East (A921/B9130). At the roundabout turn left (A915/B981) Continue towards Leven, Lundin Links, Pittenweem (A917), Anstruther and Crail.
North - follow the A913 to Cupar, then the B940, B941 and B942 to Pittenweem.
Admiralty House, Harbour Lights, Harbour View and Tranquility, Pittenweem
Upon reaching Pittenweem travel past the school and take the next right into Lady Wynd (signposted to the harbour) Turn left into Marygate and then right into Abbeywall Road.Follow the road all the way down to the harbour. Turn left at the harbour for Tranquility which is on the ground floor at The Gyles (No. 2).
Continue along the harbour front from East Shore to Mid Shore. Admiralty House is number 18 Mid Shore. Harbour View is number 20 Mid Shore and Harbour Lights is number 21 Mid Shore.
Serenity and Sea Whisper, Pittenweem
Upon reaching Pittenweem turn right at the West End Pub into South Loan. Serenity and Sea Whisper are situated half way down South Loan on the left hand side. Serenity is number 11 and Sea Whisper is next door at number 9.Island View, SeaScape and Sea Haven, Anstruther
Upon reaching Anstruther, go straight on at the little roundabout, taking the road to Crail. Pass the new (Betts) houses on the left, and then the new (Muir) houses on the right. Turn right when signposted towards Cellardyke (also signposted Haven Restaurant and East Neuk Outdoors centre). Continue to the end of this road and bear right into East Forth St.Sea Haven / Island View is the first large house on the left hand side (No.33), next to the road leading down to the harbour. Sea Haven is entered from the front. Island View and SeaScape have their own separate entrances, next to the courtyard, overlooking the Firth of Forth at the rear.
St Andrews House and Bell Ringers Cottage, Crail
On entering Crail turn right into Shoregate and follow the road down as it turns to the right towards the harbour. The Bell Ringers Cottage, number 25 Shoregate, is located on the right hand side as you go down to the harbour. Upon reaching St Monans from the Elie direction take a right, after the fish warehouses (recommend that you buy fresh fish here) into Station Road. Continue down this road to the harbour and turn right into West Shore. Spinnaker Cottage is number 18 West Shore.
Elie House, Elie
Coming from the South take the A917 till you reach Elie. Upon reaching Elie turn left into the High Street. Travel along the High Street past the church, deli and pub on the left hand side. Continue past Chapman’s Place and North Street and take the next turning on the left hand side to Elie House. Continue along the driveway until you reach Elie House and the apartment is number 11.By Air - Edinburgh airport is approx one hour away by car via the Forth Road Bridge
